The name Rockingham, is inspired by the famous English (Yorkshire) pottery of the 18th and 19th centuries. There is also a connection of an old Hawley family who had various potteries in the same area from approximately 1720, a family who is still in the ceramics business to this day having been operating in New Zealand for over sixty years.
The Rockingham range is in use in New Zealand, Australian and Pacific commercial and domestic markets, with plans to expand further afield over the coming years.
The Rockingham trademark is registered to Andrew Hawley Ltd, please visit Andrew Hawley to view the range of brands we distribute throughout New Zealand and the Pacific Islands.
